Dr. Fauchez is an expert on atmosphere modeling using a variety of tools which include general circulation models (GCMs), 1D radiative convective and equilibrium models, 1D photochemical models and spectrum generators. Dr. Fauchez leads the CUISINES intercomparison framework which helps to benchmark and validate exoplanet models to improve data prediction and interpretation. For VPL, Dr. Fauchez helps to connect the proposal to the CUISINES exoplanet model intercomparison framework and provides GCM simulations when needed.
