Dr. Pramod Gupta is a Research Scientist at the Department of Astronomy of the University of Washington in Seattle. He works with the Virtual Planetary Laboratory and the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. His research interests are in radiative transfer, planetary atmospheres, planetary spectra, planetary dynamics, astronomical survey science, applying machine learning to astronomy, and supercomputing. He obtained his Ph.D. in computational physics from the University of Rochester in New York.
