Affiliation: Terra Quantum AG & Leiden University, Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS)

Location: San Francisco, California, USA

Research Interest: My research focuses on quantum information science and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on how information processing, learning, and optimization scale in complex physical and computational systems.

Biography

A central theme of my recent work is the Quantum Memory Matrix (QMM) framework, which treats spacetime as an information-bearing medium capable of storing and propagating imprint entropy from physical processes. This work explores implications for gravitational dynamics, compact objects, dark matter, and dark energy, and motivates new approaches to identifying long-lived informational structures in astrophysical and cosmological data.

In parallel, I oversee broad research and product development activities at Terra Quantum AG as a Member of the Board of Management (Product) and Chief Product Officer. This includes responsibility for quantum and hybrid hardware efforts, software platforms, and developer toolchains, advanced algorithm libraries, secure communication technologies, and medical and sensing devices. My role spans the full pipeline from fundamental research and prototyping to system integration, validation, and deployment, bridging physics, engineering, software, and applied AI.

Alongside this industrial role, I hold an academic appointment at Leiden University, where I teach and conduct research in quantum computing, quantum algorithms, and the interface between physics, mathematics, and computer science.
