Dr. Reinhard is an expert in planetary biogeochemistry, with extensive experience in constraining the evolution of Earth as a habitable planet and modeling key biosignature gas cycles on a planetary scale. He has extensive experience with a range of ocean biogeochemistry models, including the intermediate complexity planetary biogeochemistry models cGENIE and CANOPS. For VPL, Dr. Reinhard performs ocean-atmosphere biogeochemical modeling for evaluating biosignature gas fluxes on habitable exoplanets.
